The Military Service Project
Attention to orders!
The Durand Heritage Foundation Military Service Project
is an effort to document our family's service in the Armed Forces in both peacetime and in war. Our
goal is to gather as much information as possible to produce a special military edition of the Durand
Heritage Foundation Newsletter by Veteran's Day, 2002. We intend to provide each veteran or veteran's family
a place in the newsletter to share a bit of their history.
A special place to honor our heroes
In addition to documenting the service of all who served, we also hope
to highlight those whose contributions were above and beyond the call of duty with
expanded feature stories.
Because many of our family's heroes gave their lives or served long ago, we need YOUR help to tell their stories.
We need your stories!
To participate, you can
print out our
form
and submit it to Lt. Col Durand (see below). We may need to contact you for more information, so be sure to provide us a way to contact you!
