The Military Service Project

Attention to orders!
The Durand Heritage Foundation Military Service Project is an effort to document our family's service in the Armed Forces in both peacetime and in war. Our goal is to gather as much information as possible to produce a special military edition of the Durand Heritage Foundation Newsletter by Veteran's Day, 2002. We intend to provide each veteran or veteran's family a place in the newsletter to share a bit of their history.

A special place to honor our heroes
In addition to documenting the service of all who served, we also hope to highlight those whose contributions were above and beyond the call of duty with expanded feature stories. Because many of our family's heroes gave their lives or served long ago, we need YOUR help to tell their stories.


We need your stories!
To participate, you can print out our form and submit it to Lt. Col Durand (see below). We may need to contact you for more information, so be sure to provide us a way to contact you!
