He married Genevieve Leveque in Berthier [Berthierville] Que, 1792.

Ambroise Durand and Genevieve Leveque had the following children:

195 i. Marie-Genevieve⁶ Durand was born in Berthier [Berthierville] Que 1793. She married Basile Goulet 1809.

196 ii. Ambroise Durand was born in Berthier [Berthierville] Que 1794. Ambroise died 1810 in Sainte-Elisabeth [Joliette], Que, at 16 years of age.

+ 197 iii. Pierre Durand was born 1796.
