He married Anna Quarnstrom. Anna was born in Dassel, MN Or Sweden 1880. Anna was the daughter of John (Peterson) Quarnstrom. Anna died 1941 in Muskegon, MI, at 61 years of age.

Alfred (Frederic) Durand and Anna Quarnstrom had the following children:
